If you鈥檙e passionate about fitness, sports, or helping others improve their health and movement, 亚洲色吧鈥檚 Exercise Science program offers the perfect starting point. From your first semester, you鈥檒l gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs, working with advanced equipment and learning from experienced faculty.
The Exercise Science major was designed with flexibility in mind鈥攐ffering more than 23 credits that can be used to add a minor, double major, or complete prerequisites for graduate programs. Most major coursework can be completed by the end of the junior year. This allows the senior year to be focused on a capstone project, certifications, completing a minor or prerequisites, gaining experience through an internship, or participating in faculty-led research.
You could go on to grad school.
This undergraduate degree is an excellent option for students who wish to attend graduate school in: Exercise Science, Public health, Medical school, and Professional Health (physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, chiropractic medicine, etc.)
Or you could start your career.
Graduates of the Exercise Science program can pursue careers across a variety of fields, including fitness and wellness, clinical exercise assessment and prescription, coaching and sports performance, strength and conditioning, and public health. T
Curriculum
Our program focuses on covering the 250+ competencies developed for Exercise Science accreditation (based on the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (CoAES). Also, our courses prepare students for two of the top certifications in exercise science:
